There are many techniques in reproducing images in colours through specifics graphic processes and industrial equipment. In this type of Commercial printing, the four-colour-process commonly known as CMYK is the printing process. Three secondary inks are used plus black. Cyan (Blue), Magenta (Red) and Yellow are all primary colours and when overlapped provide an absorbed near black. However, because of this poor “subtractive” black, a separate black ink is used.
